 Kenejia
« Thread Started on Apr 26, 2008, 8:19am »

Name: Kenejia
Age: 14
Nicknames: Jia, Kena
Gender: Female
Occupation/Position: She’s that “new girl” you always see. She is a student at Chrianne Galenta High. She also helps her mother at work arranging and creating potions.
Magic Type: The element I would say that suits Kenejia best is the control of darkness. Whenever she finds the strange object that contains all the darkness within, she makes the area around her become dark. There was an unexplainable power to her element, just like all others.
That was the General Information. Need I say more?

The Appearance

Complexion: To Kenejia, she thinks she is the most horrid, ugly, and fat little pig on the whole planet. Most fairies comment on how she is very striking. Unfortunately, Kenejia takes this as not a complement most of the time. However, she has very striking looks. If you traced back her fairy-line, you could easily tell that she originated from exotic looking fairies, or even Asian fairies. She has the thick, black hair that surrounds her circular face. Her eyes are actually more blue than they are brown or black, or even green. She has cheekbones that are raised high against her face making her look, at some points, very fragile. However, that is also a downfall for Kenejia. But that’s a completely different story.
Height: Kenejia is a very petite build and, if she stands, is at the height of 4’11, or about that size. Not much bigger than an average 11-year-old fairy child.
Weight: Well, since she is in fact a fairy, (a very short and light one), her weight wouldn’t be much more than 120. Although she does enjoy her snacks, and often thinks she gains at least ten pounds in less than a week.
Hair: As I have mentioned before, Kenejia has very thick and black hair. She could resemble what you humans would call a “witch”!
Eye color: A penetrating blue tone.
Wings: They are the shape of round circles. They are a light, sort of feathery texture and the color is white with the end tips green.

Personal History:

The village was quiet. A flower opened its bud. A moon passed. Another bud opened. Another moon passed. Nothing was heard. Fairies hovered anxiously about the Blossom Grounds. The pollen they had brushed off had just landed right over other flowers, pollinating the whole flower gardens. Little things in sky started to hum. Once. Twice. Three times. A flower opened its bud. A moon passed. Once. Twice. Three times. A flower opened its bud. Tiny cries were heard. The relief that a new member of the village had been birthed safely was a miracle. This was, of course, the exciting birth of Kenejia. Kirstenane and Ucono wrapped the tiny thing in a newly bloomed flower petal. The sky was warm and crisp. A slight breeze brushed by. Kirstenane laughed.
“What is it, my dear?” Her beloved husband asked.
“She looks so strange and unreal! It’s hard to think she’s one of us.” And this in fact was the truth. Kenejia was not a gorgeous little fairy baby. Come to think of it, no fairy baby was attractive. They all looked like little lumps. The only thing you tell that would differ them from that were the large wings and plump face.
“Daddy, look at me!” Kenejia spun around twice in her new little pink outfit. It was her 4th birthday, and a big celebration in the Fairy world. It was a happy April day. Many elderly fairies (or Kenejia’s grandparents and aunts) watched as their precious little Kenejia grew to the bright age of four.
“I see, little flower. Now you may go out and play. But do not wander anywhere past the Blossom Grounds.” Ucono warned her. Being only four-years-old, Kenejia disobeyed her father when he turned his back. She wandered off. She past the Blossom Grounds seeing the buds open and close rapidly, as if warning her to stay. She giggled and flew ahead. Her wings were shaking all the time, though. They had just gotten their awaited flight a few moons ago. Or, in this case, a few minutes ago. She stopped at a dark cave. There was a light that seemed to glow purple all around the cave, tempting Kenejia to come inside. She flew delicately, almost as if she was a puppet being moved by a secret hand. Inside the cave, the light grew brighter. But it was still very dark, and it seemed as if it was nighttime and you had this purple savior light with you. A purple globe stood firmly on a shiny rock. Kenejia picked it up. It was not heavy at all. It had a shape of a moon inside it. Kenejia was completely enchanted until calls were heard from her father and mother. She tried to fly out of the cave, right out of it. But she couldn’t. Something was actually binding her in that cave. She struggled and struggled until she blinked hard. Then she was in the Blossom Grounds, her parents calling for her in the beginning tips of the Grounds. She looked back and saw nothing but the pastel flowers swaying in the breeze.

Five years later, when she thought she might visit that area she saw before, she also felt very nostalgic. And a little doubtful. What if it wasn’t there? What if that thing she saw before had vanished? Blossom Gardens was not too far from her own home. She was nine years old and not even the least bit scared of being alone in that dark cave. She flew and flew and finally she reached a large pit. There was gravel and dirt beneath it. There was no cave. No shining rock with the purple orb sitting on top of it. Kenejia felt like crying. She furrowed her brow and looked down in disappointment.
“I can’t be crazy…” She murmured to herself. She looked ahead. The cave was not there. Kenejia knew she had seen it. Tears came shooting up from inside her eyes. She puckered her lip and hunched. Her wings stuck out. She used them unwillingly, letting them drop down.
As she flew back home, she noticed a little shack that was not there before. It had said, “Potion Shop”. Kirstenane, her mother, was inside arranging different bottles of odd contains.
“Oh, Kenejia! You’re a smart little fairy. Which bottled potion shall I use on your father?” She giggled, holding two different potions up. Kenejia gave a weak smile.
“I don’t know. What are they for?” She asked. Kirstenane sighed.
“I’m afraid your father is forgetting again. Forgetting me. Forgetting you. It’s the curse working up again. You remember, don’t you?” She set the two potions aside. “I know it is wicked of me to make the curse delayed but I don’t know how I would live with a man like him when he forgets.”
“I can’t believe Youna would do that. She was…your friend.”
“Well she isn’t any more!” Kirstenane snapped. “Sorry. Youna does things like that. Betrays and hurts you. Don’t worry, Kenejia. She won’t ever get to you.” Kenejia wandered if that purple orb could have something to do with Youna, tracing her every step. Maybe the purple orb was still there, just not in a place where she would suspect.

At 15 years old, Kenejia was able to travel further away from her parents. Past the Blossom Grounds, past the Maple Tree. She could wander away without a care. The only thing that stopped her was the Dead Lands. However, that was something Kenejia knew she would not trespass in. She flew above new grounds she had never seen before. It was a field of long grass. Nothing more. The grass was quite pretty in the summer light, though. There was a tall mushroom seat sticking right out of the ground. Kenejia thought she might rest. But right below the seat, she noticed a purple shine. She let her fingers caress the sides of it. It was a circular shape…just like the orb. Kenejia immediately picked it up and the sky went black. Purple smoke clouds were hovering in the sky and a purple mist surrounded the whole ground. Kenejia noticed around her there was no moon in the endless darkness. She began to feel afraid, afraid that there was no guiding light back home. She looked into the orb and noticed a crescent-shaped object contained within the orb. It was the moon.
Kenejia was back at her home in no time and forgot all about the darkness, for it was now light out. She informed her parents about “Flutter Field” and how she dreamed to journey off to it. It wouldn’t matter how close or far away she was to it; she would start her own journey as a young fairy. Perhaps even see the King or Queen. Her face flushed up in excitement. She was ready.

Personality: As it was most explained in the history, Kenejia is a very curious girl. She has always been one and I don't think she'd ever change. That's her inner personality, but her outer personality is not shy, not outgoing, and not even in the middle. Her attitude changes frequently towards different people, so if she's your friend, you may not even know the real her!
Right now as she grows out of her shell of being such a child, she learns and develops more things. She is still curious and her attitude changes still, but she's maturing. She is learning technics of how to be a classy fairy from her mother. Things she often questions about have ceased.
Likes: Kenejia likes mushrooms. If you were to talk about a food product, mushrooms would be the answer. But about favorite activites she would say: "I like catching little bugs in the sky that light up. I like making potions and arranging them just like my mother. And I like to explore. Sometimes I even like playing the flute." She would surely include hunting for mushrooms, but that's not anything she does every day. That would be another hobby she could include maybe later on.
Dislikes: She dislikes anything that is terribly skinny or mean. She will not eat any food that contains clover bits. And she will not do any sort of activites that will include wing racing or anything such as that. She also dislikes the water very much.
Fears: Kenejia has always been afraid of the water and has always hated it too. She would never set foot nor wing in the water, never once even try to swim. She heard stories about the water sucking you up and eating you alive. She hated and feared the water ever since it killed her little bug friend that she took with her when her family went to the seas. She wanted to give the water a taste of its own medicine.
Strengths: Family gives her strength. Darkness gives her strength. And faith gives her unending strength. Those three things that she would have during a battle or during something dreadful, you could be sure to be injured or hurt emotionally.
Weaknesses:The weaknesses that Kenejia have always had with her were the ability to do anything sporty. She wasn't that type of girl, and when there were games such as that that she had to participate in, she would feel terrible of how she lost every round of it.
She is also weak against the water, as I have explained before. There isn't much to say about that, only that she is terribly and deeply afraid of the water.
As she grew, she became weak against another type of magic; light. It had never bothered her as a child. The light had been the source of her exploring, the bright shining across the sky. But when she became older, she began to push away the light. She would never read with it on, she would always want the light to go away in the morning. Her parents just say that she is becoming a "young fairy" that needs their dark in various hours. But she disbelieves them. It isn't just regularily that she pushes the light away.
Loyalties: Kenejia is the daughter of a noble family. She and her family serve the King and Queen and always do their best like other families. She often wishes how she could be the daughter of the King and Queen, the heir to the throne! Or even an outcast, the girl who can venture anywhere she wished. But she was stuck right in the middle of a little family that had "everything" she needed.

you're missing a lot of key information for one the personality has to be two paragraphs you're missing the entire your information section and it's not within the code using the code would make it a lot easier to read and it would get you approved faster also you're missing something that would be essential to get you accepted but i cant tell you what that is you must read the rules for that one otherwise it's good. you can get a portrayed by later if i'm thinking correctly.

xD Sorry. I'm, like, 11 years old so I write these profiles terribly. I did read the rules and I should've read them more carefully. I'll copy the code down and modify my charrie sheet better. Thank you!

Okay, there we go. It's fixed up a bit. But I just need a little more time to find the right celebrity.

you're still missing that bit from the rules. Next time follow the sheet and don't change any of it it's like that to make it easier on staff to accept you i can help with a celebrity later and you need an rp sample still.

I'm going to lock and move this app. You can find it in the 'Can't Breathe' board to reference for your new app, if you choose to make one. BE SURE not to CHANGE THE TEMPLATE AT ALL next time.
